Mr. Finney, Barbara, and entire family; I would like to pass on my deepest condolences on behalf of our entire family. Bill was a fine individual as well as a life long friend; he operated at the highest level of ability and integrity in the challenging marine industry that most of us picked for our careers. We share your sorrow and hopefully Bill now rest easy; with love the Berg family. Saturday, December 1, 2018 |

Bill and I spent many years together working at Hunter Marine back in the seventies, always a fun guy who really knew how to build boats, I will miss his smiling face. Wednesday, November 28, 2018 |

Bill and I worked as colleagues together for many years at Regal Boats and were fortunate to be part of an awesome team. As our careers evolved, we remained friends. When Bill took the helm at the Luhrs Marine Group, he opened new opportunities for my ad agency to service three of the four brands he oversaw. He was a great guy, a hard worker and a straight shooter. For me, he was a collaborator and a confidante who always gave honest feedback I could trust. I’ve prayed for Bill daily for months now, and while I will truly miss his friendship, I’m so thankful he is no longer suffering. He fought a good fight and has left a living legacy that will endure. My love and heartfelt prayers for Barbara and his family will continue... I know his family was his greatest joy and most cherished treasure. Godspeed Bill, until we meet again! A lot of good and bad times shared with Bill in the marine business. One of the truly nice guys in a tough industry. May there be wind in your face and fair skies ahead. My sympathy to the family for such a tragic loss many years too soon. He will be missed in the marine community where he spent so many years. Sunday, November 25, 2018 |

My Hero
You held my hand When I was small You caught me when I fell You’re the hero of my childhood And my later years as well
And every time I think of you My heart still fills with pride Though I’ll always miss you Daddy I know you’re by my side
In laughter and in sorrow In sunshine and through rain I know you are watching over me Until we meet again
