In his years as a member of the Kirkland Town Board, Art contributed greatly to making the community a better place to live. I appreciated his sense of humor and his dedication to our hometown. May each of you be comforted at this sad time by knowing that others share your sorrow at the loss of a good and decent man.

My life has definitely been fuller, as a result of Art with his words of wisdom and unique perspective which would make you think outside the norm. He was a great person who will be missed by all who knew him.

Dear friends: I wanted to take a moment to pass my condolences along to Art's familymembers on his recent passing. I had the pleasure of working with Art at General Electric (Broad Street)in Utica in the late 1980's and he was a true friend and a gentleman. In fact, Art took me under his wing and called me his 'adopted son' and hismannerisms and unique sense of humor will be greatly missed. My best wishes to his family....another true angel has been added to God'skingdom. Regards,Scott Martin

Dear Laraine, I hope you remember me; I worked at GE with Gene Soulia and Art. I just read Art's obituary in the Utica paper today. I am very sorry for your loss. From what I read; it seems that you have plenty of family to help keep you up. I will always remember the desserts that you made for us guys for our coffee break. Take care and God Bless you.

Sincerely yours,
Edward Polczynski

My condolences to Laraine, Nan, Shelly and family. I was saddened to hear of "Uncle Arts" passing. Growing up around Art was always and adventure of one kind or another, like seeing how far we could make a car coast coming down College Hill or talking to someone in another country on his HAM radio, learning morse code, building swimming pools and telling stories by a evining fire in the summer. I know he will be missed, but the memories will always remain
