Imogene “Jean” Henry, 89, of Interlachen passed away into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Kiva of Palatka following an extended illness.

Jean was born July 30, 1929 to Donnie and Bonnie Johnson in Webb, Alabama and had been a resident of Interlachen for the past 31 years, coming from Orlando. She had been an active member of Bethel Assembly of God in Interlachen. She had actively volunteered for Hospice in Palatka. She had taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She loved serving others. She was a prayer warrior, a student of the Bible and loved the Lord.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, David Edward Henry, Jr. and a sister, Sybil Williams.

Surviving are her husband of 65 years, David E. Henry, Sr. of Interlachen; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Wendy Henry of Heathrow, FL and Gene Nicholas and Lanette Henry of Enid, OK; two sisters and brother-in-law, Sarah Winski of Keystone Heights and Ruth and Bill Ross of Tulsa, OK; three grandchildren, Jonathan Henry, Travis Henry and Morgan Henry; a great grandson, Travis Henry, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a faithful and devoted wife and a loving and Godly mother.

Private services will be on Monday, January 28, 2019 with Pastor Robert “Derrell” Smith officiating.
