Kathleen Carroll Keith, 74, of Palatka passed away Friday, October 4, 2019 at her residence following an extended illness.
Kathleen was born in Caryville, FL and had been a resident of Palatka for 51 years coming from Lake City. She had worked for and retired from CDR Industries manufacturing meter boxes. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Palatka. She also was a member of the Palatka VFW, Palatka Moose Lodge, and Interlachen Fleet Reserve. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, cooking, and going to flea markets.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Herbert Davis and Thomas Keith; her parents, Jesse and Pearlie Mills Carroll; three brothers, F.J. Strickland, George Strickland, and Okley Strickland; a sister, Virginia Phillips; and two grandsons, Scotty Greene, Jr. and Austin Davis.
Surviving are her long-term companion, Walter Collis of St. Augustine; a son and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Lynn Davis of Salt Springs; a daughter, Teresa Greene of Jacksonville; two brothers, Clarence Carroll of Salt Springs and Oneal Strickland of Panama City; six sisters, Ouida Quick, Murlabee Woods, Teen Stevenson (Leroy), Mary Ann Berry, and Ola Griffin all of Bonifay, and Owene Laird of DeFuniak Springs; two grandchildren, Diana Greene and Amy Bilicki; and one great grandchild, Eleanor Belle Davis.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 12th at Masters Funeral Home in Palatka with Pastor Mike Stanley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
