TRAVIS C. RIFE

Travis Carl Rife, 33, of East Palatka, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.
Travis was born in Ft. Lauderdale and was a lifelong resident of Putnam County, living in Bostwick and later in Palatka. He was a member of Bostwick Baptist Church where he was baptized in 1998 and was a member of Awanas. He played Babe Ruth Little League Baseball and had been in Boy Scouts Troop 492. He had worked as a framer in the construction industry and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joel Rife; paternal grandparents, Leon and Sally Rife; and maternal grandfather, Walter Fijalkowski.
Surviving are his mother, Gale Rife of Palatka; maternal grandmother, Norma Fijalkowski of North Ft. Lauderdale; his fiancée, Chrissy Davidson of Palatka; a daughter, Jayden Wilkinson of Palatka; four step-children, Aston, Jessup, Grayson, and Kamie of Palatka; two brothers, Joel Rife (Lyndsi) of Palatka and Nicholas Rife of Palatka; two sisters, Amanda Rife of Palatka and Susan Sapp of East Palatka; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 26th at Masters Funeral Home in Palatka. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 27th at Masters Funeral Home in Palatka with Brother Maurice Sterling officiating. Burial will follow in Bostwick Cemetery.
